"What you do to the least of my brethren, you do to me"
On July 7, 2000, Dmitri Zavadsky disappeared. A photo journalist for ORT television (Russian State Television), Dmitri was kidnapped at the behest of Neo-Stalinist Autocrat, Alexander Lukashenko, the illigitimate dictator of an otherwise Glorious Belarus.

Before working for ORT, Dmitri was the personal camera man for Alexander Lukashenko. Inspired by greater potential, Dima took a prestigious position with Russian State TV Journalism. Dmitri, a man of great honor began to report on stories exposing the true nature of Lukashenko. After an arrest coupled with a year of jailed confinement for a story of Lukashenko corruption only three years prior, Dmitri feared not and continued to exercise his entitled right for free speech and free press. Lukashenko, a man motivated by fear, took Dima from his family and from the rest fo the world. Such ignoble deeds Mr. Lukashenko will not go unrewarded...

Only 28 years old, he leaves a beautiful wife, Svetlana and a wonderful little son, Yuri. Dima's case is not unique. There are other prominent Belarussians who have gone missing. I worry not for Dmitri or the other missing ones. Its the loved ones who have been left alone without their men. Fight On.

The reason for this site is actually quite sad, if not tragic. It is a great horror that those who lived and loved with Dmitri must now live and love without him. His wife Sveltana. His son Yura. His mother Olga. It is such a disgrace to lose such a fine man. And he is not alone. There are others missing. Worst of all, there will be more.

I have never heard a bad thing said about the man I pay tribute to. He was the best in his field of work at an age when most still have not chose what kind of life to lead. More importantly, he was a family man. He embraced his son and wife in a way that all men should...but sadly so few do. Maybe you knew Dima and my words are not anything you don't already know. You may have never known him. Whatever you reason for finding this website, let not these words fall on deaf ears. Let not the images you have seen fall on blind eyes. Let them pierce the fabric of your heart and soul. Maybe then you will be motivated to to join the fight for truth and ask, "
Who Is Guilty of the Crime?"
